Located in the port town of Lymington, The Ship Inn is well connected and easily accessible.
If you’re travelling by bus, the town has its own bus station and depot, offering numerous local services as well as routes to Bournemouth and Southampton. Lymington also has two train stations, Lymington Pier and Lymington Town.
For drivers, the A337 road links Lymington to Lyndhurst and the M27 motorway to the north.
As a port town, Lymington can also be accessed by ferry.

Keeping Busy in Lymington
The town is famous for its sailing history, evidence of which can be found almost everywhere you look. There are two active sailing clubs, with regular races and world-famous regattas taking place throughout the season.
When it comes to shopping, the town boasts a number of quirky, independent shops and designer boutiques. A market is also held on the High Street every Saturday.
In close proximity to the New Forest, The Ship Inn is surrounded by natural beauty. To the north, you’ll find the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the New Forest, whilst to the south, the Solent and the Isle of Wight are equally as impressive. Of course, once you’ve finished exploring the great outdoors, pop into The Ship Inn to refuel in wonderful surroundings.
